Stand And Be Counted NOW

Few things are uglier than racism. That’s why racists are viewed with such contempt. It is also why years ago the left weaponized accusations like “racist” and “sexist” in an effort to demonize those they disagreed with. The tactic was designed to bully and silence the target while stigmatizing them so their friends/supporters would not stand with them. And it was horribly effective. Millions or tens of millions of Americans were too busy or too scared to stand up and shame/punish those who used this new tactic. The end result is that virtually everyone on the right who speaks up today gets branded a racist or sexist or something similar and the price of the left crying “Wolf!” is that real racism and sexism offends less and is harder to point out in a convincing fashion. As these false charges lose their shock value and effectiveness, and voters increasingly disregard them as #FakeNews, we should not be surprised that the left is digging to a new low – weaponizing accusations of rape and sexual assault. Their purpose is the same, only their desperation is far greater. Which is why now is the time for those same millions of Americans who failed to object on the first occasion to stand & object with all their might to the left’s attempt to weaponize rape/assault. The real crimes are too ugly to allow them to be used as political tools and the public must never be numbed to them. Yet they will be if they end up overwhelmed by the number of false claims that will surely arise if this tactic is successful. So stand and be heard. NOW.
